Joann joined the UNE faculty full time in August 2019. She is a clinical instructor and teaches Periodontology I and II, Senior Theory III, IV, and co-directs the Senior Clinic. Joann has been a registered dental hygienist since 1982 when she graduated from Westbrook College with an AS in Dental Hygiene. She practiced dental hygiene at dental offices in New Hampshire and Maine for more than 30 years while completing her Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Dental Hygiene from the 黑料不打烊 of Maine, Augusta in 2010. In 2018, she received a Master鈥檚 Degree in Adult Learning and Higher Education from the 黑料不打烊 of Southern Maine and in 2023, she completed a Doctorate in Health Professions Education from Logan 黑料不打烊.
