Dora Ann Mills published in 'Vaccine' journal
UNE鈥檚 Vice President for Clinical Affairs Dora Anne Mills, MD, MPH, FAAP, co-authored an article 鈥淓ffects of immunizing school children with 2009 influenza A (H1N1) monovalent vaccine on absenteeism among students and teachers in Maine,鈥 which was recently published in the July 6, 2012 issue of Vaccine.
The article discusses the authors鈥 study, which demonstrated that increased vaccination among Maine鈥檚 school-aged children had modest effects on student and teacher absenteeism, despite the fact that vaccination occurred immediately prior to and during the peak of the H1N1 flu pandemic.
